Emily's younger sister. Disney nerd, avid reader, and finisher of several Marathons. Despite photographic evidence of Emily showing disdain for her new sibling in 1996, the sisters are closer than ever. You can expect Natalie to recite at least one movie quote per hour throughout the wedding day.

Nicolaus Karamanian

Emily's best friend from high school who inspired her to pursue the Australian dream. They met when they sat next to each other by chance on a school field trip, and have been inseparable since. When she's not watching Friends/DWTS or stepping on millipedes, she's a listening ear to her friends who are blessed to have her.

Mayce Zaia

Jacob's earliest friendship under the sea. No one has ran more circles with Jacob than Adam. A kindness-first, ask-questions-later kind of guy. What was the question again?

Adam Lloyd

Emily's youngest first cousin. Refer to her for all of your pop culture, fashion, and makeup needs. Introduced Emily to the world of LOL Surprise! dolls and crazy "climbing dogs", and arguably the best "SAID!" player in the family. Guaranteed to have the best lashes at the wedding. 

Alexa Diakowsky

Jacob's best friend from his high school. A world traveller, family man, and expert educator in robotics, you can expect to leave wishing you were like him when you grow up.

Brogan Pratt

Emily's close friend from UWindsor Chemistry who introduced her to the wonders of Shaw's Ice Cream in St Thomas. Loves to have a nice long convo over a PSL and explore new places on foot. When she's not saving the oral health of Kingston one cavity at a time, you can catch her curling up at home with a good board game.

Joanne Lowe

Jacob's close friend from SFU. Dr. Sia is a world leading expert in motion sickness and will literally give you the suit off his back.

Siyavash Izadi

Emily's close friend from medical school. A hard-working, selfless queen who assisted in luring Emily to the proposal of her dreams. You can catch her weaving an intricate belt, reading a good book, or acting in the Abbey Medieval Plague Cart. An asset in the epic Tanga Trivia victory of November 2024, when Ebony and Emily are together you can gurantee they will "get amongst it". 

Ebony Layton

One of Jacob's closest friends and former roommate. A culinary wizard, master engineer, and a genuinely INCREDIBLE man.

Adam Prochazka

Emily's first cousin. Aspiring school psychologist by day and bread connaiseur by night. Previously had a phobia for all Disney characters - except Minnie Mouse! Her undying loyalty to the Michigan State Spartans reflects her loyalty as a cousin and friend.

Bethany Lill

One of Jacob's longest-standing friendships. Endless stories include: ditching parties to get McDonalds, staying up all night hanging out, and dropping everything to be there when he's needed. The emperor protects.

Matthew Aujla

Emily's close friend from medical school. Known for her selflessness and commitment, as illustrated by her Boyz II Men cosplay at Emily's 1994-themed 30th birthday. Always up for a day trip into nature or venting about the woes of internship over boba, Rachel is a valued friend.

Rachel Wu

Emily's oldest first cousin. Known to have a cannon of an arm and Diakowsky Family Perogie-Eating contest record-holder (18!!!), Cody and Emily spent many summer days together at Grandma & Papa's growing up. Loves spending time with family and having life chats at Tim Horton's.

Cody Ajersch

Emily's close friend from medical school. From practicing OSCEs together in 2nd year to cruising the Whitsundays on a speed boat, you can guarantee there will be a good combination of laughs and heart-to-hearts whenever her and Emily get together. It's corn!

Makenna Moore

Jacob's mentor-turned-friend from SFU Residence. An expert on space and science education; Captain Cimone is leading a space battle on misinformation. I'm Jacob Karamanian and I'm Chasing Atlantis.
